3 Then all the people plucked from [a]themselves the golden earrings, which were in their ears, and they brought them unto Aaron.
4 (A)Who received them at their hands, and fashioned it with the graving tool, and made of it a [b]molten calf: then they said, (B)These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt.
5 When Aaron saw that, he made an Altar before it: and Aaron proclaimed, saying, Tomorrow shall be the holy day of the Lord.
